Diebels Fasskeller in Chemnitz

Great idea: Ribs special at Diebels - thanks for the delicious variety!

Made a detour here on almost every visit to the city and spent many wonderful evenings with friends in good company. Food and drinks were always great, the service friendly and courteous. I keep my fingers crossed for the whole team to survive the Corona period and look forward to seeing you again.

It was again very good food, the service very friendly. We felt very comfortable and regret that it will be closed on November 2nd, 2020. The hygiene concept is good, we felt safe.

After we called around 8:30 pm to ask if there would still be a free space in 10 minutes, we were so unfriendly "pointed out" whether we were aware that it would be closed at 10 pm. The answer that we are actually aware of this was annoyed. We were very shocked and then went to another restaurant. Definitely NOT recommended.

Just delicious. In terms of price and the waiting times are also okay. There is enough flair and feel-good factor. I can warmly recommend the Bierbowle and of course the restaurant as a whole.

A decent ambience and the waiters use mouth and nose protection. Toilets a bit small / cramped, but clean. Food was good, but the portions were too small for the price. The normal seasoned meat for just under 6 euros was particularly disappointing in terms of size. In addition, it came at the same time as the main courses. Sodas not too sweet.

Cool and cosy. Pleasant atmosphere. Fashionable youth venue popular with young people and beyond. It is also suitable for a romantic evening. We had an unforgettable evening thanks to the super friendly staff. Tasty food but even more drinks

Great restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, huge selection and delicious food, very nice and friendly service, very humane prices. I can only recommend. Is also good for family celebrations. The parking garage is also just around the corner.

The good thing first: the service was quick, good and friendly. The beer was okeeehe but I also ate something. the food - with which we would be the main point of criticism - was a disaster. If I had to choose between the Congolese motorway service station - there are no service stations in the Congo, let alone a “motorway” - and the local one, I would probably choose the Congolese service station. In other words, the noodles were cooked so long that they broke when touched, there was some broth in the plate 1 cm high either because too much water from the pot got into the plate or because the tomato "soup" was actually water with a drop of ketchup . The chicken was fine. Because of this and because the service was good, I refrain from giving it an even worse rating. Even if a cook in a restaurant who is unable to prepare noodles should actually be fired directly.

A great location on the Chemnitz river with plenty of outdoor seating. Hearty and tasty home cooking round off the stay. While there is, as already mentioned, nothing to complain about in terms of taste, the portions could be a bit more generous for some dishes. For example, the "Feuerknödel" (dumplings baked with spicy goulash and cheese) only had three or four smaller pieces of meat on the plate. Maybe it was a coincidence and the cook just didn't put the ladle far enough into the (goulash) pot ... Still good 4 stars with a little room for improvement ;-)

I went here for brunch with 18 people on 08/23/2020 (my 60th birthday). The staff was super nice and very helpful. Everyone was very satisfied with the very tasty dishes and the selection. I would like to thank the staff very much again.

Unfortunately I can only award one star. On August 23, I visited the restaurant around 2.30 p.m. I ordered schnitzel with chanterelles and country patatoes for € 14.30. In return I got a schnitzel which was floating in a watery mushroom sauce. This made the crispy breadcrumbs soggy. The same was with the potatoes, soggy and sticky. Yuck. The chanterelles overcooked and it didn't taste like mushrooms either. I then returned the food and still paid full price.

Delicious food in a rustic atmosphere. Great store with very nice staff. In summer you can sit comfortably on the terrace right by the Chemnitz. The only downside: the tables on the terrace are sometimes a little close together, so that you sometimes get the cigarette smoke from your neighbors for free with your meal.

We've been here several times for both dinner and Sunday brunch. Everything was always great and we have never had a reason to complain. High chair is no problem for the children and for our youngest they even warmed up the porridge again. The service has always been very nice. We would love to come back and can only recommend the Diebels Fasskeller.

Food and beer was really nice, service very good as well.

Yesterday I was in the barrel cellar for the first time at noon. And I didn't just think it was really tasty what there was to choose from. The speed also convinced me to use this more often in the future. In addition, the current Corona restrictions are implemented well and have not been a noticeable change for me as a guest. Well done. Chicken salad with cabbage... that pretty much describes it. A German restaurant with average food and great Beer.

Food was really good and its cost is reasonable (not expensive). I would come back if possible. The facility is in good shape.
